Twin Bench Top Filter

This Benchtop Twin unit comes with an AAL filter to reduce fluoride and a CBC10 carbon cartridge that will take care of reducing fine sediment, chlorine taste and odour, and protozoan cysts in residential and commercial drinking water. The AAL filter is designed to reduce fluorides to below 0.5 ppm (>98%); it is constructed totally from FDA grade materials and media, with 550 grams of pre-conditioned fine mesh Activated Alumina, which is a naturally occurring inorganic compound that is chemically inert and non-toxic. The CBC has a nominal (85%) filtration rating of 0.5 micron, and 99.95% efficiency for the reduction of protozoan cysts. It comes with 8" Benchtop Spout. Filters are not intended for use on microbiologically unsafe water. It comes with diverter as standard, please let us know, if you prefer small rubber or large rubber.

Filter Specifications:

The AAL is a non-regenerable drinking water and general-purpose cartridge designed to reduce fluorides to below 0.5 ppm. It is constructed totally from FDA grade materials and media. The AAL cartridge utilizes a special fine mesh activated alumina that has been pre-conditioned specifically for single use cartridge applications. Laboratory evaluations have demonstrated that this pre-conditioning step will increase the AAL capacity to as high as 11000 ppm F+ with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm F+ feed. High pH, high bicarbonate levels and high flow rates all adversely affect the capacity of the AAL. For best results, do not exceed recommended flow rates and pH conditions. For influent streams above 100 ppm of bicarbonate, reduce capacity by 50%; above 200 ppm, reduce capacity by 75%.
