Operation: 

Installation:

* While the nXt alarm has an IP54 rating, additional protection against the weather is recommended. 
* Using suitably rated cable, the float can be extended up to 50m length. 
* The power flex and float cable should never be encased in metal piping/conduit
* The 10m cable is supplied with a counter weight. In situations where the float switch cable is not secured to a fixed object i.e the float is lowered freely into the tank, a counterweight is necessary to ensure correct operation by providing a pivot point for the float. 
* Exercise care in positioning the float to ensure it cannot become snagged or otherwise rendered inoperable. 

Note: 

* The nXt Alarm is an alarm module only
* It does not and cannot operate a pump
* There is no ability to connect to any network or to trigger external devices including remote alarm units.
